GoldenTime- when I looked it up something marked by luck, peace, and happiness was what came up. 

 

Delicate, radiant and modernising femininity… words that describe my Renaissance, Edwardian, resort inspired capsule collection. Mesmerised by the iconic Carrie Bradshaw and how she pulls pieces together, assisting in fulfilling the muse vision. The focus for each piece was to capture a graceful feel, whilst successfully combining contemporary and timeless style. Alluring a sense of escape, taking one to a GoldenTime, a place of tranquillity and luxury. Pieces incorporating intricate panels, rich in colour, texture and detail. Based upon my attraction to men’s voluminous, exaggerated garments in the Renaissance period, as well as the feminine touch of women’s undergarments throughout the Edwardian era. My desire to design these pieces comes from the idea of what is seen as male elements and intertwining it with a feminine foundation.
